2-day Group Tour Blue Mountain Peak

Service Description

This is a two day trip! The Blue Mountain Peak Trail leads to Jamaica's highest point, which stands at an impressive 2,256 meters (7,401 feet) above sea level. This challenging trail spans 9.3 kilometers (5.8 miles) across rugged terrain and demands a strenuous four-hour hike to reach the summit. Nestled within the pristine, primary forest of a national park designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Blue Mountain Peak Trail offers an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Jamaica. Along the way, you can marvel at native flora and encounter a rich diversity of avian life, with over 200 bird species to spot, including many of Jamaica's unique endemic birds, such as the elusive Jamaican Blackbird. Notably, the national park is free from large or venomous animals, ensuring a safe hiking experience. As you ascend beyond 2,000 meters, approaching the summit, you'll notice a remarkable transformation in the landscape. The lush canopy gradually gives way to an elfin forest, characterized by stunted and gnarled trees and shrubs due to the extreme elevation. To embark on this unforgettable adventure, be sure to come prepared with the following essentials: Sturdy hiking shoes or sneakers suitable for the trail. Ample liquid refreshment, particularly water, to stay hydrated throughout the hike. Snacks to keep your energy levels up during the challenging trek. A warm jacket to combat the cooler temperatures at higher altitudes. A raincoat to shield yourself from unexpected rainfall, as weather conditions can change rapidly in the mountains. Embarking on the Blue Mountain Peak Trail promises an exhilarating and breathtaking experience in the heart of Jamaica's natural wonderland. The price is 200$ pr prson and includes: Guide, Transportation, Mountain trail fee, dinner and breakfast. Bring your own snacks and drinks and some cash for more food if you get hungry. This is a Group tour and to keep the cost affordable we need at least 4 participants to happen. When the group is full we will send out a email at least 5 days before confirming the tour. If the tour is not full you will have the opportunity to do the tour alone as a private tour for a fee. If the slots do not fill up and the tour gets cancelled then you will get your money back. You would not get your deposit back if you cancel the tour.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelling between 30 and 15 days before departure: you are charged a service fee of $50. Cancelling between 14 and 1 days before departure: the customer is charged a service fee of 50% of the total order value.
